Everyone is susceptible to sun damage. Of course, some people are more at risk than others. And if these people aren't careful, many of them could develop AK, a precancerous condition.

In most cases, the people who are most at risk have the following characteristics:


Red hair

Light blue, gray, or green eyes

Pale or fair skin tone

History of sunburn

These are just general rules. In order to get a better understanding of your own risk, it's best to do a self-assessment.
